Join us for an enchanting evening at Essence on Friday, 21st March, as we present a Piano & Cello Candlelight Concert, featuring the exceptional talents of Theo Bross and Chinatsu Hirayama.

Ticket Price: K1,500 per person including a three-course dinner and a wine pairing by Paul Wallace Wines.

Evening Itinerary

Candlelight Concert: Begin your evening with a one-hour performance in our main dining room, illuminated by the warm glow of candlelight.

Interlude with Drinks and Canapés: Transition to our upstairs lounge for a selection of drinks and canapés.

Three-Course Dinner: Return to the dining room for a meticulously crafted three-course dinner, accompanied by light music to enhance your dining experience.

About The Artists

Chinatsu Hirayama

Chinatsu Hirayama, born in Japan, began piano studies early and later trained in church organ and flute, specializing in Opera Singing. She graduated top of her class with a Bachelor and a Master’s in Opera Singing. Recognized for her success in major competitions, including being a finalist multiple times, Chinatsu received a full scholarship from the Rotary International Foundation to study in Firenze, Italy. Her operatic career spans Japan, Indonesia, Italy, the U.S., and Zambia, performing roles such as Zerbinetta, Susanna, Hanna, Mariza, and Violetta. She currently teaches IBDP Music at ISL, leading the ISL Orchestra and Choir and mentoring students to achieve Grade 8 certification.

Theo Bross

Theo Bross, born in Germany, studied at the music academies of Stuttgart and Budapest. A laureate of prestigious competitions, Theo has played with numerous European orchestras before dedicating himself to teaching and performing across African countries. He is currently based in Rwanda and Germany.
