This Valentine’s Day, Essence invites you to an intimate evening of flavour, sound, and atmosphere.
A thoughtfully curated six-course tasting menu by Group Executive Chef Ray unfolds alongside live classical music, with each course paired to a moment, a sound, and a feeling.
Throughout the night, a rotating ensemble of accomplished musicians performs between courses, creating a seamless dialogue between kitchen, table, and sound. The line-up features Chinatsu Hirayama and Chrispin Sitali on piano, Morris Muchindu on flute, and violinists Christopher Makona and Seth Munsaka, with each musical interlude thoughtfully woven into the rhythm of the six-course tasting experience.
This is a shared dining experience. Unhurried, expressive, and designed to be enjoyed together, from the first note to the final course.
Guests are welcomed from 7:30 pm with drinks and live music, setting the tone for the evening.
At 8:00 pm sharp, the tasting menu begins and progresses as a continuous journey through six courses.
Live musicians will move through the evening, performing between courses and weaving music into the rhythm of the menu, creating a seamless dialogue between kitchen, table, and sound.
Due to the nature of the experience, late arrivals will join the menu at the course being served at the time of arrival.
Earlier courses cannot be re-served.
